Hey! We’re Rebecca and Cordelia — the founders of Lync. We’re both 21, content creators, and best friends who met while studying at IE University in Madrid. I’m Rebecca, originally from Los Angeles and currently working as a social media manager for the largest Data Engineer Academy in the U.S. I’ve always been a bit of a serial entrepreneur. And Cordelia, born and raised in London, is also a content creator and all-around creative powerhouse.
When we first moved to Madrid, we were so excited — new city, new chapter! But what we didn’t expect was just how hard it would be to make genuine friendships. We spent months feeling totally lost, isolated, and wishing there was a space to meet likeminded girls.
One day, while sitting in a café, we started talking about how we had to change this — and ended up scribbling down all our ideas on a napkin. That napkin became the start of Lync — a community built to help girls make real friendships in new cities.
Now, women are meeting their new best friends at our events, and it honestly makes us so happy to know that Lync is changing lives. Whether it's a Pilates class, a coffee meet-up, or a hike in the park, we’re creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and connected.
